Quest ID# 30625
Quest works. But seems NPC ID# 59888 for the quest has a disappearing bug. WoWHead has a comment that seems Blizzard has the same issue. See below. The quest also does not have any "Students" that this comment mentions.

"Currently there is an issue where Ik'thik Tendon-Slicer spawns then despawns, after a bit of watching things I've managed to solve it, well at least for my occasion.

Ik'thik Bloodrager and our mob Ik'thik Tendon-Slicer share the same spawn location. After killing Ik'thik Bloodrager you travel up a hill killing a few mobs on your way for Ik'thik Incubator where you help the students by taking out the eggs.

The issue is that a group of mobs which is 2 x Ik'thik Warrior and 1 x Ik'thik Wing Commander are spawning at the bottom of the hill where the students travel after killing Ik'thik Incubator. This delays the students from getting to Ik'thik Tendon-Slicer in time. What I found is if go and engage the group of mobs especially Ik'thik Wing Commander after killing Ik'thik Bloodrager I can then bring them over to the students fighting the group of mobs on their way up to Ik'thik Incubator. This stops them being delayed at the other side of the hill so they able to get to Ik'thik Incubator in time.

I suspect that if you have enough fire power you'll never even notice this issue as you'll take down the group of mobs at the bottom of the hill fast enough. In fact I think I need to go and have a quiet word with my Shadow Priest.
